Everyone in this community, including speakers, staff, attendees, and all other supporters, is required to agree to the following code of conduct. We expect everyone involved to help provide a safe environment for all participants.
Harassment includes offensive comments related to gender, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, race, or religion; the use of sexual images; deliberate intimidation; stalking; unwanted photography, recording, or video recording; disruptive or offensive comments during discussions; inappropriate physical contact; and unwelcome sexual attention.
Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately.
If a participant engages in harassing behavior, the organizers may take any action they consider appropriate, including warning the offender or expelling them from the event without a refund, even for paid events.
If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any related concerns, please contact event staff immediately.
Staff will help participants contact venue security or law enforcement, provide escorts, or otherwise assist participants in feeling safe for the duration of the event. In short, your participation is sincerely welcome.
We expect all participants to follow these rules at study groups, conferences, workshops, and event-related meetups.
