Is your AI-driven operational efficiency actually delivering value? Systems that go unused in production after the PoC; efforts that never translate into value creation for the organization. Now that adopting generative AI has become the norm, what has emerged from supporting AI adoption across the companies of the Toyota Group is that the cause of these stumbles lies not in the technology but in the "approach." In the first half, I'll walk through the challenges we actually faced in the field and the practical wisdom for getting past them. In the second half, I'll introduce how to choose among Microsoft's agent-development services, along with a real-world, personally built multi-agent example constructed with Microsoft Foundry × Azure Durable Functions × Agent Framework.
